About

Image:Linalicon.gif Current Version 4.1 LinAl is my calculator program. It does symbolic computation and matrix arithmetic. The API documentation can be found here.

Version 4

This is the newest version of LinAl. I have made many changes to the structure of the program. Most of the changes are to improve the program and efficiency. The changes that the user will notice are mostly in the arithmatic (so far). Note: As of version 4.1, libdavid is required.

Version 3

Version 3 was the first implementation of LinAl in C++. This included the first use of wxWindows for the GUI. However there were may improvements to be made in the structure of the program, as well as the calculation algorithms. Version 3's webpage is still up here.

Version 2

This was a GUI version, still in Java. The GUI was the real change from Version 1.

Version 1

This is the original LinAl developed at Belmont. It was written in Java and version 1 only included terminal usage. GUI wasn't added until Version 2. It was crude, but it worked (sort of).
